Located in the southern red clay hill quail country, Honey Lake Plantation Resort & Spa is a virtual bird hunter's paradise with scenic rolling hills, longleaf pines, and gorgeous native grasses. It has been noted on the prestigious Georgia-Florida Field Trial map and is nearby other famous quail hunting plantations such as Dixie, Pinckney Hill, Pinion Point, and Avalon.
Our hunting areas, (called quail courses) meander through miles of gorgeous terrains that vary from pristine Longleaf pine forests to gently rolling native wiregrass meadows dotted with picturesque cypress ponds and magnificent live oaks. Specially equipped jeeps transport hunters, guides, and world class sporting dogs to fresh hunting areas every morning and afternoon.
You will simply love the unspoiled scenery and this classic southern quail hunt of a lifetime. All harvested quail are professionally processed, packaged and iced down for your return trip home, or if you prefer to dine on your very own freshly harvested quail, our plantation chef will be delighted to prepare them for you.
There are a variety of fun things to do during non-hunting hours beginning with our private world class wingshooting complex which includes 12 traps, (including two 60 foot towers), high and low skeet shooting houses, and double wobble trap. The course offers regulation trapshooting, sporting clays, skeet, and five stand,
Non-shooting alternatives include additional fine amenities such as our modern exercise facility, kayaking, pool, spa, and salon, and shopping at our pro shop. Or perhaps you might just want to explore the miles of scenic trails via horseback, hiking, bicycle, or electric cart. There are also plenty of excellent fishing opportunities that abound in any of the numerous ponds and lakes which are heavily stocked with trophy largemouth and hybrid bass, bream, shellcrackers, and seasonal rainbow trout.

Deposit and Payments
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance is due October 1st. Incidental charges are payable at the time of departure. Guests will be charged in full for the number of guests and number of days booked.

Split Day Quail Hunting
A select segment of our hunters prefer this arrangement because they can travel during the day and not incur the cost of an additional night of lodging. This hunt includes lunch and an afternoon of hunting; then, hunt the morning of departure day and leave after the hunt. We charge no premium. An afternoon lunch followed by a morning hunt is billed out as a full day ($895 above).
